News from Kansas City states that Steven Adams, of Chicago, died in the ring on Wednesday evening a few minutes after being knocked out by Sammy Mandell, light-weight champion of tho world. The referee, Walter Bates, declared that all Mandell's blows were clean, and expressed the opinion that Adams died as the result of a heart attack. After an autopsy, the Coroner announced that death resulted from a broken neck. Mand'el], who was arrested on a technical charge, has been released on bail.
