SYDNEY, This Day.
A conference of Federal members of the: Australian Labour Party, convened by Mr. M. Charlton, Federal Leader, .with-'a .view of arriving at a solution, of the split in the party ranks in New South' Wales, which, it is feared, may extend to the Federal sphere, passed a resolution that every avenue of conciliation should be explored in order once more to bring about a good understanding of all sections of the movement, and to this end appointed a committee representing.the Federal executive to attend meotings: of both the official and Scale executives, which are being held to-morrow in order to discuss terms of settlement. .
