Poison addressed a large mooting of women from tho country districts of Otago. The branch has mudo an oxcellent start, ana has a largo membership. Mr. Poison outline*! the work carried out m the North leuiand, and tho aims and objects ot the -organisation. Mrs. J. Preston (Waikouaiti) was elected president. Other speakers were Mr. J. D.
