(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) mi « * DUNEDrN, l at June. The first annual gen/jtal meeting of tne Otago women's brajacih of the New Zealand Farmers' Union was held today, when Mr. W. J. Poison addressed a large mooting of women from tho country districts of Otago. The branch has mudo an oxcellent start, ana has a largo membership. Mr. Poison outline*! the work carried out m the North leuiand, and tho aims and objects ot the -organisation. Mrs. J. Preston (Waikouaiti) was elected president. Other speakers were Mr. J. D. Hall (Canterbury), and Mr. D. M. Reid (president of the Otago Farmers' Union). .
