HUTT LICENSING COMMITTEE

The quarterly meeting of tho Hutt Licensing Committea was held yesterday. There wore present Mr. W. G. Eiddoll, S.M. (chairman), J. M. Power, E. J. August, H. J. Foley, W. Bowden, and A. Anderson. Tho police report stated that on the whole the hotels were well conducted, and tho position was considered satisfactory. Certain small repairs were required. A transfer was granted for the Family Hotol, Lower Hutt, from A. A. V. Holbrook to H. J. Archer. The transfer was granted conditional upon repairs being made. Now applications were granted as follows:—Taita Hotel, Ernest Thomas Home; Railway Hotel, Lower Hutt, George Henry Atwood; Victoria Hotol, Petone, Bridget Elizabeth Purcell. A transfer of a wholesale license was made from Andrew Y. Lees to Robert P. Lees. n
