FOUND DEAD

Colin Reid, aged about 65, residing at .Melling, and thought to be a labourer, was found dead a few feet from the railway line near Melling Station just before 8 o'clock this morning. It was at first thought that he had been knocked down by the Masterton express, but as there wore no marks of injury i; was surmised that he had had a seizure. The body was placed on board a passing train* and brought to Wellington.
