EARLY SETTLERS' ASSOCIATION
ELECTION OF OFFICERS,
The annual meeting of the Wellington Early Settlers' and Historical Association was held last night. The annual report and balance-sheet extracts from which have already benn published, were adopted after brief fliscussion. OflSeers for the ensuing year were elected as follow:—President, Sir R. D. D. M'Lean vice-presidents, Mrs S. Brown, Messrs. E. G. Richer, G. A Troup, Sir George Hunter, Sir John Luke, Professor W. P. Wilson; committee, Messrs. A. Cheeseman, 8. G. White C. W. Tanner, C. Tandy,. W. Toomath B. Smith, and W. Freeman; secretary, Mr. W. A. Edwards; treasurer, Mr. D. M'Kay. . . .
