Hall, president of the North ■ Canterbury executive of the Farmers' Union, who, returned frora,' Wellington on Saturday, made the following statement of the wheat question, yesterday:, "Knowing how anxious the farmers: were, about the prices :likely .to, be tb* ..■.'.■ tamed for next .year's wheat, .the r»rmers' Union executive asked me to see the Prime Minister on Friday.
