WELLINGTON CLUB.

The Wellington Club held » run from Newtown Park on Saturday. Twenty runners followed a trail selected by C. Cooper and R. Newspn; 'leading from the back of the Park to Russell terrace, then over the hill to Houghtbn Bay. The road was then followed to, the Karitane Home. From there a scratch run-in resulted in a win for T. Shroud, with S. Morris second, and A. W. Burns third. In winning, Shroud collided with a spectator and had to Veceive attention from two St. John Ambulance nurses.. Next week.the Palmer Cup (sealed handicap race) will be competed for from 69, Tauhina. road, Miramar. Points gained by members for the "run-in trophy" are: T. Shroud 6, S., Morris 5, A. W.
