(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post") DDNEDIN, 28th May. The annual report of the Otago Patriotic and Welfare Association states that the balance standing to the credit of the association is £46,321 12t 7d. As the result of the increased rate interest now earned by investments, the life ftf the fund will.be materially increased, and the time is yet distant when the association will be required to consider the means of augmenting the fund from any other source. The total applications received from soldiers, and dependents since the inception of the fund number 16,852, and the expenditure to date amounts to £118,213 2s lOd. The loans granted to date amount to £15,647 17s Bd, and the balance outstanding is £1195 12s 2d.
