INNINGS AGAINST ESSEX MILLS AND LOWRY IN FORM (A.P.A. and “Sun.”) LONDON, 14th May. The New Zealand team commenced a match at Leyton against Essex. Ia the first innings New Zealand scored 289. Following the quick and cheap dismissal of Blunt by a catch behind the wickets, the New Zealanders’ enterprise seemed checked, till Lowry and Mills came together.
