AN OLD CUSTOM
COUNCILLORS AT CHURCH In accordance with a very old English custom, the Mayor, Mr. G A Troup, invited City Councillors to attend church service yesterday, the first Sunday after the formal installation of the Mayor. In all, councillors and their wives and members of the council staff about fifty, attended Sti John’s Presbyterian Church, the service being conducted by the Rev. J. R. Blanchard.
