CONCENTRATED MEASURES-
DEBATE TO BE SUSTAINED

RUGBY, 12th May. Speeches delivered during the Committee stage of the debate on Clause 1 of the Trade Unions Bill in the House of Commons yesterday were listened to without interruptions by Labour members, but at a private meeting of the Labour Party it was decided to continue the maximum amount of opposition to the progress of the measure Relays of speakers have been arranged for by Government and Opposition to sustain the debate through an allnight sitting which is expected to last until after breakfast to-morrow morning.
