Sir Truby King' has arranged with the OPlunket Committee for giving the public a final opportunity of visiting and. being shown over the grounds at Mount Melrose from 2 to 5.30 p.m. today, and also of seeing the emulsion factory in full work. In addition, visitors may look over Dr. King's private grounds and house, both on this 'and Sunday afternoons. In future, .ijkafces Dr. King, it will be obviously necessary to ensure complete privacy /throughout the institution and grounds for the sake of the mothers who are .resident''at the Karitano Hospital, or who.may.'need to pay visits with their children., Henceforth the public will be admissable to the grounds only on special permits signed by the matron of the Karitane, Hospital or by one of the Plunket nurses, or the secretary of the society at Kent terrace.
The Commissioner of Taxes, by advertisement, draws the attention of taxpayers to the fact that returns of income must be furnished not later than Ist June. Forms may be obtained at any postal money order office; they .will not be sent to taxpayers from the office of the Commissioner of Taxes unless written application is made for then.
