Sister Whiteman presided over a large gathering. Among those present were the Grand Master, Deputy-Grand Master, and District Secretary, and the following lodges were also represented: Lcyal Britannia, Loyal Antipodean, Loyal Petone, Loyal Timaru, Loyal Howick, Loyal Rose of the Valley! Loyal Sister Wallis, and Loyal Combin' ation, to whom lodge honours were accorded. ; An interesting address on tha founding of the lodge in 1857 was given by: F.S. Bro. Cropp, which was followed by appropriate speeches by members of the visiting lodges. The lodge adjourned for harmony, and a very enjoyabl* evening was'spent, visiting members renewing old acquaintances and making newones. Supper was dispensed during tha evening. ..."•. Arrangements are being made to join in with the monthly visit of Loyal Combination Lodge at Johnsonville. After dealing with a large amount of correspondence, the lodge was honoured by visitors from Loyal Pannevirke Lodge, Sister Wallis, Britannia, and other lodges, Sister A. Allen and Bros. Madeley and Saunders replying. A pleasant time -was later, spent at cards,, supper being provided under, the arrangements of Bro. C. J. Burnett. .
