Thrilling situations abound in "Tho "Danvcr Dude," a Universal-Jewel production, which received its first screening at the ■ Quco'n's Theatro last evening. Hoot Gibson is starred, aud. he succeeds in* making, tho picturo one. of tho most hilarious Western photoplays scon for many a day. Hoot Gibson's penchant for gctting_ into trouble and quickly getting out of it again is well known, but in "Tho Dnnvor Dudb" hn exceeds himself. Excellent support is given the star by Blaneho M Haffey, who makes a charming horoino. A jtood supporting programmo includes %n interesting gazette nnd an amusing Comedy. ■
