PORT NICHOLSON BAND.
At tho Grand Opera House to-morrow night, when tho Port Nicholson Silver Band will give .its first recital of tho 1027 Season, a splondid programmo has been arranged. Tho artists to appoar iucludo Atiss Myra Sawyer, tho Wellington soprano,, Miss Holly Power, a talented contralto, Miss Mary Coolcy, a wellknown nionologist, Mr. Thomas C. Wood, a bass-baritone, and Lyric Quartette (of Messrs. Phipps, Goudie, Howe, and Brown). The band items havo all boon carefully selected, and should meet with tho approval of nil present. Miss A. Bryeni wilt act as accompanist. Intending patrons arc strongly advised to bo early to secure a seat. Subscribers who havo not obtained their season's card can do so by communicating with Air. John G.
