GRAMOPHONE RECITAL.
The amazing strides made through scientific research in the improvement of the gramophone have now made it possible for those far removed from the musical centres of the world to hear and appreciate the greatest works of all time, played or sung by the foremost artists. The gramophone is a wonderful: scientific and artistic achievement. In Wellington its possibilities have been shown, as never before by Mr. Ernest Dawson, whose four , concerts in the Concert Chamber last year w«re outstanding successes. Music lovers will welcome the news that a further recital will be given there on Thursday evening next. The programme will include a choice selection from the many remarkable "His Master's Voice" records that have been issued recently, and these will be heard on the latest "His Master's Voice" instrument. Additional items will be given by Madame de Mauny, Miss Ncsta Cavwell^ Cooko and pupils, and Mr. Desmond Lavin. Admission is free, and seats maybe rcsewed without charge at the music rooms, 40, Manners street. "
