The Hon.-Sir Maui Pomare, Minister for the^Cook Islands, has received tradio advice from the Resident Commissioner at Earotonga that the members of the New Zealand cricket team .^ho Jeft Wellington for their English tour by the Tahiti on Tuesday, the 29th March, arrived at Rarotonga on Saturday, morning last, all in good health and excellent spirits. The weather conditions during their stay at the isJand were very good. The programme pf entertainment prepared by the Cook Islands officials and the residents included a luncheon party, a motor drive round the island, with bathing and afternoon tea at the Commissioner's beach shack at Titikaveka, and a most enjoyable practice match with a Barotonga eleven. The Resident Commissioner concludes his message by saying that the members of the New Zealand team thoroughly enjoyed their day ashore at this last outpost of Dominion territory on their journey to England.
