UNREHEARSED
(Special to "The Evening Post.")
' CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A curious incident occurred at "the military pageant in the Showgrounds during the musical ride. A horse fell and the next man could not pull up his horse in time and the second was standing astride the first "when it suddenly got up. The second horse promptly shed- its rider" and hung with its forefeet on the ground and its hind legs over the saddle of the other horse. For a moment it looked as though it was going to be a bit awkward getting the animal down, but after a little harmless kicking by both horses the top one slid off. The men remounted and continued their ride none the worse.
