Labour -Party- has- now becurred on the question as to whether the annual conference, should be held at Easter or in June. The latest development is the formation of a newAustralian Labour Party Executive, omcially described as tho "Pro-Confer-e£e« Executive," und<? the presidency; of Mr. Scale, recently suspended from the .presidency.. Both executives claim to be the headquarters of the party, and each has threatened to' expel- th« v other from the movement. 7 The leaders of the old executive claim that oyer twenty executive members, out of s membership of thirty.two are supporting it. ~ ; r ■
