LABOUR PARTY'S MEETINGS.
_ The Labour Party is holding an openair meeting to-morrow evening at the corner and Vivian and Cuba streets at 7 30 P.m. The speakers will be Messrs. J. O Johnson, W. A. Atkinson, F. Freeman, an?i , Glove.r- The speakers will deal with the municipal elections and the question of unemployment. On Sunday evening next, at 8 o'clock the Labour Party is to hold a public demonstration in the Empress Theatre to protest against the-.Government's unemployment scheme, and especially the proposal to pay single men 9s a day and married men 12s. The speakers will be Councillor R M'Keen, M.P., Councillor Robert Semple, Mr. W. Nash, secretary, N.Z. Labour Party, and Mrs. Snow. Mr! J. O.
