DUNEDIN, This Day. _ In the Civil action m which the National Bank of Australasia proceeded against Lewis Curtis, a commission agent, Mr. Justice Sim gave judgment to the plaintiff, who claimed £546, the amount of a cheque drawn by the defendant on the National Bank, and subsequently dishonoured by his direction by alleging it had been obtained by fraud by Sandman, a bank teller, who was convicted of embezzlement.
