Sensational revelation! are promised in connection with the arrest of a mail named Bichette, who is alleged to bt the leader of a group of shady financiers owning a number of small finals* cial papers which published fictitious quotations, resulting in upward of three/ thousand investors parting with State socurities valued at forty million franca in exchange for worthless shares. Bochette, who began Ms career as •> waiter, developed a genius for finance. His frauds recalled those he engineered with such astonishing success fifteen years ago. Two men associated with him, Thorol and Mexando, have also been arrested. They were acting as editors of financial papers which boost* ed shares in which Bochette was in* torested. When readers showed an interest or wrote asking for information, Eochette's canvassers called at their houses.
