EMPRESS THEATRE.
Both pictures at the popular Empress Theatre have a boxing atmosphere. One stars Monte Blue and Patsy Ruth Miller Louise' Fazenda, and Willard Louis, and, its title is "Hogan's Alley." The other, "Blarney," features Ralph Graves, Renee Adoree, and Paulette Duval, a new kind of screen vampire. Monte Blue essays the role of a young Irish pugilist, the idol of the alley, who sacrifices his chance for fistic honours for the salje of his girl, a pigtailed heroine In "Blarney" is unfolded a tale of the prize-ring in tho late 80's, in which a good-natured fighting Irish boy becomes American champion. Tho supporting programme is excellent, and there is delightful music by Miss Edwards's Orchestra.
