VETERANS' PARADE.
A correspondent writes drawing attention to the large number of returned sol- ? leE? and other war veterans who paraded in Wellington in connection with the visit of the Duke of York. The total parading on the Monday was nearly 800, including two cot cases wheeled by their comrades. The Maori War veterans wer« under Mr. R.
