NAVAL LIMITATION
.THREE-POWER CONFERENCE
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, 12th March.
The United States Government, after having received a verbal acceptance of its proposals for a three-Power disarmament conference on auxiliary craft limitation, haa formally invited Britain and Japan to attend.
According to an official announcement of the State Department, the conference will bo held at Geneva.
The invitations woro extended through tho British and Japanese Ambassadors and suggest a dato as soon as possiblo aftor Ist Juno.
No official communication was sent to Italy or France, which it is hopod will see their way clear to send observers. It- ia possible, howevor, that invitations to participate in this informal manner will be forwarded later through Paris and Rome.
