WELLINGTON CLUB'S SUCCESS \ RIX-TEOTT 220 YARDS J CHAMPION The annual carnival organised by the [Wellington Swimming Club on Saturday proved a most successful function, with closely-contested races and a fine diving display. The attendance was above the usual, and proceedings were enlivened by the acceptable music provided by the Boys' Institute Band. The work of the handicapper (Mr. J. Calnan) was evident in the narrow margins of the wins, and those who attended were rewarded by fine spectacular races.
