N.S.W. WINS AGAIN
The visiting New South Wales bowlers have certainly been consistent itt their play in matches in Wellington, and gained their third victory on Saturday afternoon when they met four rinks of the Wellington club on the latter's green. The visitors were cordially -welcomed by the- president (Mr. W. Glendinning) who said that the club was always ready to extend a hearty reception to players from Sydney, whether as a team or individually. Cheers were given for the visitors. In reply, Mr. J. Scott (president of the New South Wales Bowling Association) said that it was a pleaaure to meet and play against the members ofi the Wellington Club, the oldest and largest club in Wellington. He called for three hearty cheers for the club, and the members of the visiting team then gave one of their choruses. The results of the games were as follow (New South Wales names mentioned first):— Bensor, Matthews, Cronin, Farme* (s), 16; Simpson, limes, J. J. Boberts, E. J. Hill (s), 16. Hardy, Parkes, Park, Witherden (s), 30; Haldane, Veitch, Gooder, Jackmatt (s)> 13.
