STRAND THEATRE.
"Red Hot Tires," featuring Monte Blue and Patsy Ruth Miller, heads tho new change at the Strand Theatre. It is a comedy of accidents, automobiles, and laughs in which the hero, injured in a wreck, becomes afraid of motor-cars. But when the girl he loves ia in danger, he speeds to her rescue at the maddest pace he ever drove at in his speed-demon days. "The Unknown Purple," starring Herbert B. Wallhall mid Alice Lake, is the second attraction. Walthall shows out in his portrayal of tho inventive genius who, betrayed by those.lie loved best, returns' after seven years in prison to take a weird vengeance upon them. The supports aro excellent.
