SIR JOSEPH COOK'S MISSION

The mission of Sir Joseph Cook, who will leave for Geneva to-morrow, is for the .purpose of appearing before the Council, when the mandatory residents' right of direct petition will be discussed. He will also watch the development of the inquisitorial questionnaire, concerning which the Commonwealth sent .1 lengthy memorandum to tlie Council.
