The Lang Cabinet has decidad to cease its dispute with the Governor over the Upper House- appointments as it thinks it would be detrimental to the Government to prolong the controversy. Labour will concentrate on a campaign for the State-wide condemnation of the Legislative Council because of its failure to accept the family Endowment Bill.
