AMALGAMATED ZINC LIMITED.
Amalgamated Zinc (de Bavay's)'Limited is considering a report of the directors on. the latest developments in connection with the establishment of the paper manufacturing industry in Australia, the company having, been negotiating in this, regard since, it ceased ore treatment operations at Broken Hill. Shareholders are asked to authorise the board to investigate further the practicability of establishing and carrying on the manufacture of pulp and paper and thereafter to take such steps as it may deem advisable- in connection therewith. ■' .'.
