BOUNTY FOB DAIRY FARMERS.
Australian dairy farmers "will receive £2,000,000 on their produce under, the Paterson Bounty Scheme. After paying a bounty of threepence a pound on all butter exported, the. committee has a balance in hand sufficient to make a rebate to manufacturers of 7-lliths of one penny ji pound on butter, which will amount to approximately £420,000. ..The cost of administration was small, and would n^t exceed an average of 9d to each dairyman in, the' Commonwealth.
