Sir Philip Sassoon, Undor-Socrctnry for Air, answering a question in tho House of Commons, said it was too early to state even an approximate dato when tho Air Service to India would bo extended to Australia. Tho Government of India is taking preparatory steps, and is now surveying the route between Calcutta and Rangoon, and the Commonwealth is similarly arranging for flights to_ Singapore.
