VISIT OF EXPERT
Dr. P. Kidd, of the Low Temperature Research Station, Cambridge, England, left London in December on a six months' visit to Australia to advise the Commonwealth authorities on cool storage problems in relation to fruit. The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research has made arrangements for Dr. Kidd U extend his visit to New Zealand, and he will reach New Zealand in July next. His advice, it is anticipated, will bo, helpful, particularly in regard to the storage and transport of apples, on which subject he is a world authority.
