■ This startling statement to the Parliamentary Agricultural Committee was ma*de by Major H. G. Strange: president of^. the Canadian Seed. Growers' Association.
The Committee decided to recommond legislation, to prevent the licensing of new-varieties knowiras'ihferior. Major Strange ■ added■;" that trie. Pool Board '■ favoured: the. revoking 'of ';licerises for wheat proved valueless. He; instanced Vermilion sold in Alberta-as of milling quality. He" suggested it should be chick quality.
