THAMES HARBOUR BOARD

THAMES, This Day. The Thames' Harbour Board's statement on the progress b£ the works, for which £60,000 has been raised, shows that £51,----609 has been spent on the works, which are progressing well. The engineer s state; ment showed, that the works will be completed within his estimate. It will be necessary to raise a further''£6ooo, as-allow-ed by the Act, to pay for the railway siding .and the shoreward wharf approach, which:was not in the origmal scheme. The board's general account is over £800 better than was estimated last June. The finances arc in a very prosperous condition.
