The star picture of the new programme- at Shortt's Theatre is "Speed Spook," featuring Johnny Hines, and Faire Binney It contains a most thrilling motor race, and tho- plot is one o£ the funniest and most extraordinary ever/filmed. The driverless car that scorches through a peaceful, little .town and sends the inhabitants into a state of frenzy and fear offers an unusual amount of thrills. The second big attraction is "Bad Company," featuring Madge Kennedy and Conway Tearle. It tells of the adventures of a Broadway star The supports include a comedy and a Pathe Gazette.
