These photographs are of the two panels which have been placed In the Chapel of.H.M.S. Renown. They represent St. Peter the Fisherman and St. Nicholas, who was specially commissioned on account of the fact that he is Patron Saint,of the sailors. (It is pointed out that instead of the usual symbol at his feet a representation of the Renown has been substituted) The panels are the work of Miss Myrtle Lee, and were designed and painted at her, studio, at Babbacombe, for H.M.S. Renown. This studio is well known in England, and her work is sent to many /parts of the world Miss Lee, who Is a New Zealander, is a daughter of the'late Mr. Robert Lee, and granddaughter of the late John Gully, one of the early pioneer artists
