The ".Daily Mail" says that an Englishman, a resident of Vigo, has arrived from Oporto and states that terrible scenes were enacted during the bombardment, in which aeroplanes participated. The streets were strewn with corpses. Many were killed and wounded during the Government cavalry's combats with the insurgents.
