MR. 0. H. CHAPMAN LABOUR'S CHOICE It is understood that Mr. C. H: Chapman has been selected as the Labour candidate to contest the Mayoralty in April next. Nominations closed with the Labour Representation Committee on 10th January, and, it is stated, that of Mr. Chapman was the only one received. ' Mr. Chapman was the Labour candidate at the last Mayoral election, and he polled 11,797 votes us against 13,191 polled by the present Mayor (Mr. C. J. B. Norwood).
