BROKEN BYLAWS.
Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with by Messrs. I. Salek and J. A. M'Grath, J.P.s, yesterday afternoon. For exceeding the speed limit, the following were fined the amounts stated:— Charles Burke, £3; Vincent Mark Cassin and Bernard Vincent Daws, £2 each; James E. Perry, 10s.
A fine of 10s each was imposed on each of the following for not having their vehicles sufficiently lighted:—John Boolieris, John Findlay Duff, James Richard Kirby, Angus M'Farlane, Herman John Newman, Joseph Ting. For a similar offence Arthur Henry Hollis was ordered to pay costs only.
Failure to notify change of ownership of-a motor-car cost Charles Pritchard 10s, and for using a motor-cycle without an endorsed certificate Howard Reginald Harris was fined 10s.
. A fine of 10s was imposed on Arvid Charles Victor Johnson for leaving his motor-car unattended.
Richard Tate was fined £2 and Frank Norton Taylor £1 for riding in a *dangerous manner.
Foster Brown and Arthur Denham', for leaving their motor-cars more than: 12in from the kerb, were fined 10s each.
For allowing a horse to wander, Norman Ellis was fined ss.
