SWIMMING CARNIVAL.
Another swimming carnival under the auspices of the Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimnuug Association will, be held at the Te Aro Baths on Saturday afternoon when, the principal event will be the contest for the Walker and Hall cups. Entries for this race have been received from almost every club, aid'some good swimming. should'"bo seen; There will be. plenty of other events, including breast-stroke handicaps diving and water-polo. Entries in all events are very good, and the racing is expected to be strongly : contested throughout. The Boys' Institute Band will be in attendance. •" -
