THEPEGGY GOES SOUTH
The H-footer Peggy,' Wellington's representative in the Sanders Memorial Yachting Cup contest, which commences at Lyttelton on Saturday next, will be shipped South by the Maori to-morrow night.. Her crew, comprising Mr. A. Sterling'(skipper) and Messrs. N. ,-Eountree, Harland,' Berg, and Kountree,-will accompany the boat to Lyttelton, and the' Cornwell Cup crew, Messrs. B. Breen and Harlahd, will go down on the.same steamer. The last two will be billeted at Lyttelton, arid the' 12ft 6in Takapuna claßs boat in- which they will race for the Cornwell Cup will be supplied to them there. • The Wellington Association's delegates to the Domin-' ion conference, which meets r ■ Fridaynight to discuss matters in connection with the conduct of the Sanders Cup contest, are Messrs^ Jv.rMoffatt and G; . Grpves. They have'been instructed to support a: remit that only true Roria type boats' Bhould be eligible for future-contests. A number, of -weH-known, local enthusi-. astß have announced their intention of going South' to view the two contests.
