BUILDING DISPUTE
STRIKE IN BRISBANE
PREMIER'S ATTITUDE
(United Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received Bth February, noon.)
BRISBANE, This Day.
The Trades Hall Disputes Committee decided to ask the Premier to receive a deputation from the women workers' organisation in connection with the granting of relief to distressed building trade workers and their families.
The Premier declined to meet the deputation, but agreed to meet the Disputes Committee. The committee, however, declined the Premier's invitation and passed a resolution calling upon the women workers' organisation to insist on interviewing the Premier and to present themselves in a body at the Premier's office.
