DAMAGE EXAGGERATED
According to a Press Association cable message received from Melbourne on Thursday last, a fire at Marshall's shoe faetoiy did extensive damage, throwing idle between 700 and 800 employees. The company's representative in Wellington has received a cable message that the damage was confined to the yard and not as serious as at first reported. The employees are working full time as usuaL
