SANTREY'S MUSICAL REVUE.
An; array 6t !-talent has been arranged by J. O; Williamson -Celebrity Vaudeville .to., appear at the Grand Opera House, commencing- on Mondaynextj "14th February! The combination will be headed by Henry. Santrey and his orchestra of eleven'musicians, with Harry and Anna Henry Sautrey wasthe" first conductor in America to introduce a jazz band on a stage. His baud then consisted of six members, apart from his own appearance, and the idea proved an immediate success. Since those days, Santrey and his various combinations: have.- "• advanced with.' the, times; and to-day his ."company of eleven is a fine combination. One of the features of his, orchestral numbers will be'the introduction of a' harpist,-who, in addition to playing the various numbers, will.play several solo numbers. Anna Seymour supplies the comedy of the act. She has a breezy personality, and a genius for humour. In addition to the band, there will be a very strong first half of vaudeville, headed by Jean Barrios, the American fashion-plate of vaudeville, the Swedish stars, the ■Staya.'nnys, Estelle ■ Fratus .with her iivanuequins,' andthe French clay-mod-ellers,: Yost'and Clady. The box plan for the season will open at The Bristol on Friday at 9 a.iri. First-nighter seats available as Ijsual.
