' NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day.r--Tlie Taranaki Oilfields, Ltd., report. thaS the Waiapu No. 2 well has been, drilled toi 190 feet in blue shale, and there is' a 15in casing down to 174 feet. The well is making-about ten gallons of fresh' ■ \v-ater per hour. At Taranaki Nol- 3 welt goodprogress has" been made in the transport of equipment, and coal; and. the. erection; of the rig is in hand."
