BENN TURNS SOCIALIST
LONDON, 4th February. Captain Wedgwood Bcnn, M.P., in a letter to the Liberal Association, proclaims himself a Socialist and argues that the present industrial system has failed to provide that goodwill which is the mainspring of production. He declares that even the Conservatives arc compelled by the facts to declare for national ownerships, and adds that he intends to resign his seat.
