AUCKLAND, This Day.
The Tariff Commission has concluded its sitting at Auckland, and the Com missioners left to-day for Ohakune ant Wellington.
The Commission lias been taking cvi deuce daily for the past three wseks The evidence received has been of s very informative and valuable charac ter, and will be most useful to the Com mission in the formulation of its re port, -which, it is expected, will bo pre sented at the end of June.
A largo number of importers, indus trialists, and representatives of othe sections of the community gave cvi dence. The members of the Commis sion visited several of the factories ii the city and in the district, and gaiuei first-hand information. The evidenc was heard m camera, and will no£ bj published. — . •
